Christmas Fun!

Well Christmas has come and gone but we had a great one leading up to the big day this year. Camden made Christmas cookies with his friends Jack, Emma, and Drew and he made a Gingerbread house with Abigail and Isabel. Unfortanelty for him mommy's icing work made the house fall down but we had fun anyway!. Camden performed 3 Christmas songs(Jingle Bells, We wish you a Merry Christmas, and There's a reindeer on my head) at my preschool party. Mommy was very proud! I got to play games and eat food too! We got our first snow of the year which I enjoyed getting to go out in my snow suit and boots and throw snowballs. I did want some hot chocoate when I got inside. It was cold! I went to my friend Sydney's 3rd birthday party at Gymboree it was fun! Before I left for Madison, I got a special box from Florida from my Popp0! I got a gift card, a savings bond, and some clothes. I can't wait to see him in January. We hustled and bustled between Na-na's and Nanny and Poppys house on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Camden enjoyed seeing his aunt and uncle and cousin Riley. Some of Camden's loot this year included: CD's, DVD's, leap frog stuff, puzzles, books, Mater truck, A 5 in one sports station, cash registers, t ball set, clothes, pj's, lots of Cars stuff. He made out like a bandit!! We are looking forward to celebrating the new year with some of his little friends. We are having a low key new years with our baby this year!!

We have a graduate!

WEll Tuesday was a bittersweet moment for mommy because Camden graduated through is second stage of his Musikgarten music classes. He had already graduated through the baby classes and now he graudated out of Family Music. So, in January Camden gets to start Cycle of Seasons without his mommy :) I do know that he will love being in there without me just like he does at preschool. Camden has been in music since he was 4 months old and is quite the entertainer. We are in Chrismtas mode in the Stout household. We made a quick trip to Madison For Poppy's 70th birthday, so Camden enjoyed the cupcakes and blowing out the candles. Mommy and Camden are both looking forward to Cam's Preschool Christmas Party on Wednesday. It should be entertaining as usual.

A weekend with Santa

Well we are in the Chrismtas Spirit around here in the Stout household. The decorations and the tree are up and we have now seen Santa twice this year. Once at the mall and once this weekend at our Neighborhood Associations breakfast with santa. Camden loved getting to eat doughnuts and make crafts with santa. He jumped right up there for the 3rd year in a row and was a big boy. I don't have a wimpy child that is scared in fact I wish he was a little more wimpy in somethings! Anyway he told Santa what he wanted and then we visited the mall. I also saw my Na-na on Friday while mommy and daddy went to mommy's school Christmas party. I also stayed with a non-relative for the first time while mommy and daddy went to daddy's work C
Christmas party. I played with Emma and drew and had a great time. We are looking forward to another great weekend soon!

What we are thankful for.....

Thought I would change it up a bit and post some things we are thankful for in the last month and catch you up on what we have been doing.

1. We are thankful for our Christmas cards and the long wait that we endured with a 2 and half year old to get the cards. Even though we complained about it the pictures turned out darling

2. We are thankful for last weekend when we got to travel safely to West Virginia and take our son to see his favorite movers. The smile on his face was worth a million dollars.

3. We are thankful for our son's preschool. He has made so many friends and learned how to work with others and we love the little projects he brings home. Mommy was thankful to get to be at his party.

4. We are thankful that all our family is in one place. I don't know how people do it who's families are in seperate places. It must be torture to have to skip holidays with some of your loved ones. We are blessed that all of ours is in one place.

5. We are thankful for legs that walked us through the mall one more black Friday shopping extravaganza! WE have went from 3 of us(me, mom, stacy) to 5 of us (Camden Riley) and we love every moment of it.

We have had a great November and are looking forward to our first Christmas in our new house. Better go help with the decorating....until next time.

A weekend in Madison

It's been a busy week this week so I'm a little late. Mommy and daddy needed a night to themselves so I stayed in Madison with my Na-na on Saturday night. The highlight of the weekend was when Na-na took me to see the Michael Jackson movie at the movie theater. Mommy warned Na-na I wouldn't sit the whole time and she was right, but the good news is I am made it an hour this time and really enjoyed the singing and dancing part of it. I came home Sunday and Mommy, daddy, and me went and got our Christmas card picture taken. It is super cute so be watching for it in a few weeks in the mail. I am really excited for Saturday to get here because we are all heading to West Virginia to spend the night in a hotel and go see the Imagination Movers on Sunday! I have been waiting and waiting. My mommy is really excited too and my dad even though he won't let on! stay tuned for pics!

Aunt Stacy and Riley's Visit

I had been waiting all week for Stacy, Chris, and Riley to come visit me in our new house! I waited and waited and eventually passed out 5 minutes before they pulled in on Friday night. It was okay because we made up for it. I let Riley swing in my swing for the first time, she loved it! I read her books and got in her face a lot, but she is a great sport about it! The weather was so pretty that we got to be outside a lot. Mommy and Aunt Stacy took me shopping and got some treats! I don't want them to leave but I know we will get to have fun over Thanksgiving break when we all meet up again in Madison.

Haloween Week

Well we had a great Halloween week. Camden got to wear his costume 3 times. He had wanted to be a dog for so long but we found out Tuesday night on our way to music class that he did not care for the dog costume much at all. He did leave it on for that half hour but on Wednesday refused to keep it on at preschool. Luckily mommy had put a pumpkin shirt in his backpack so he looked somewhat festive. We finished up the week last night by trick or treating around our neighborhood and meeting some neighbors that we hadn't met yet. Check out the back up tiger costume. He liked this one much better. He trick or treated for an hour and half and then the remainder of the time passed out candy to trick or treaters. He thought he was big stuff!! We are ready for a super November!

Fall Break

Well we have had a very fun week this week while mommy was off work for two days. I like these days because mommy always takes me to do fun things. I did hear mommy say that she likes them too but they end up costing her a lot of money. Here is some of the things we did: went shopping, went to breakfast and lunch, went to a movie, got pictures taken, and played outside. I made it thorough 45 minutes of the movie UP this time. Mommy did make me leave because I started commenting during the movie and she was afraid I was bothering everyone around me. We had a great week. This coming week at preschool we get to have show and tell day with an animal toy and the firetruck is coming (got rained out last week). I can't wait for Christmas break when mommy is off for 2 weeks!!!

Fall time!

Well Hello Fall!!

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend since the weather was so nice we couldn't pass it up! I love everything about it, I got to see and feed all the animals, play on the playground, eat some food, and take home some pumpkins! We had a lot of fun. Nana came to see me this weekend too while mommy and daddy went to see the Cats play. She took me to the mall and played outside with me. I am loving this weather!! WE got our new furniture in our house and I am testing mommy and daddy a lot trying to jump on it but they wont' let me. I have recently decided that staying in church is not so bad and can't wait to go now every week. Especially since mommy just figured out that I don't belong in the baby room anymore. Listen to the little prayer that I learned it is so cute. Enjoy the pics!

Here is it:

God is great

God is good

Thank you for our daily food

Amen

Amen is Camden's favorite part!

Football time in the Bluegrass

Well "Go Cats" (That's what I like to call it) Football season has officailly started! The Cats got a win this weekend. Mommy and daddy went and tailgated with friends and I went to visit my Na-na for the weekend. Mommy had so much homework that nana said she would keep me this weekend. We had a lot of fun, we went to Huber's Orchard in Indiana. I got 3 pumpkins, took a ride on the hay, and fed the animals. Nana and her friend Lee Ann took me. It was a lot of fun. When I finally made it back to Kentucky mommy, daddy, and me went on a leaf hunt around our house so I could take leaves to school for a project. I really enjoyed doing this along with playing some football (see my new UK football mommy got me) and going "UP" the slide. I hope everyone has a great week I am looking forward to a fun filled week!

Getting Settled

Well we are getting settled into our new house. Daddy and his friends finished my play equipment so mommy and I spend a lot of our time out there so I can play football, ride my wiggles car, and play on my new equipment. Poor mommy has just been eaten alive by mosquitos but she says its worth it to see how much fun I have in my new backyard. I am still enjoying preschool and am looking forward to my first show and tell tomorrow (a yellow toy) I am bringing the replica of my daddys yellow mustang cobra that he got for me to show off! I also have school pictures this week so mommy has been stressing over the perfect outfit. Other than this we have had a pretty chill weekend. We went to church and I am getting use to hanging out with the kids there. I also went to my friends Isabel and Sophia's birthday party! Mommy shared our latest comical converstaion with everyone so here it goes:
Mommy: CAmden what do you want to be for Halloween this year?
Camden: I want to be a princess
Mommy: Camden you can't be a princess because princesses are for girls. What else do you want to be for Halloween?
Camden: A dog.
Mommy is proud to announce that we will be going with my 2nd choice this year.

We are in our new house!

Wow! It's been a busy month in the Stout family. We are finally getting settled into our new house. I have been enjoying playing in the yard and going up and down both sets of stairs. Mommy and daddy still are using many gates so that I will be safe. In the meantime I started 2 year old preschool two days a week. I go on Mondays and Wednesdays and I have already made 4 friends that I talk about everyday(Michael, Phillip, Ruthie, and Meriam). Before the move I got to do a few fun things with my mommy and daddy. They took me to a Wiggles concert in Louisville. We had great seats. They were really glad they took me! We also went to a Legends game with some of our friends. Mommy and daddy are really busy making our new house look pretty but we are going to take a breather this Labor day weekend and visit with some of our friends. Some of them are coming over tomorrow to help daddy put up my new play equipment. Enjoy the pics!
