Well we had a great Memorial Day. We drove to Louisville Ky to have a cookout with all of the couples and their babies from Law school. Camden is the oldest child (Go us!)and everybody else recently had their first babies! Rebekkah and Chad had twins Ben and Grace then Stephanie and Clay had Elliette followed by Stephanie and Collin with Ian and last but not least Liz and Corey had Henry. Camden was awesome with all of the babies. He took turns holding them all. He will be such a good big brother.......someday!

Swim time!
Had to post some pictures from our day at the pool today. We contemplated joining our neighborhood pool because it was kinda pricey but we were so very happy today with our decision. Camden absolutly loved the big pool and the baby pool with the mushroom. He had so much fun. We had to make him leave because we were all getting fried(minus camden because I was physco about the sun screen). We are looking forward to many trips to the pool this summer and look forward to the get-together with all our friends tomorrow!

Water Time
Well summer weather is here in the bluegrass. Camden is taking full advantage of the warm weather. He is really enjoying water this year so far. He got loves his sprinkler, his sprayer, and now he had to have squirt guns after having some at his preschool water day(which he loved so much daddy had a hard time getting him to leave). Camden should be super excited because tomorrow we are going to check out our neighborhood pool which has 2 pools and a mushroom that pours wather continuously...he is going to love it! This week we went to another Reds game and we are heading to Louisville for a cookout on Monday for Memorial day with our friends and all the newborn babies! Camden is in for a real treat.

Hard to compete.....
Well it certainly is hard to compete with Dave. He certainly has stolen the heart of this little boy. Camden is such a daddy's boy. I tease David that when we have our next little boy he is going to be a wimp and a mommy's boy. We shall see......We are heading back to the Red's game tomorrow and are very excited about it. Cam says he has grown up and can eat peanuts this time. Whatever Cam..Dr. says you have to be 6 to eat nuts.

First Place Reds
Well we are pretty excited in our house because our favorite baseball team the Cincinnati Reds took over first place this past weekend just as we had planned a trip Monday night to go see them. So, we actually got to see them in first place! Now this is pretty special to us because this does not happen! We have been waiting since 1990 for this! I was 9 years old when the Reds went and won the World Series. Camden was very excited to go visit Joe and go to the baseball game and what DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES. Last year he was so so squirmy and I can't say he was an angel but a definete improvment. We are loving the 3's so far. I thought for fun I would list all of the food Cam consumed: skyline oyster crackers and cheese on the way up At the game: a bag full of cheese puffs, popcorn and ice cream at the game, fruit snacks and suckers. The next day he had his 3 year old checkup. He weighs 36 pounds and is 38 inches tall! Big boy!

Some of Camden's favorites
The three of us had a nice weekend at home with no plans.....well no plans never works out. From all the bad weather we had part of our fence was leaning so daddy pretty much had to deal with that all weekend but we all did find the time to hang out and let Cam do some of his favorite things around the house. Camden got a new Wii game for pooping in the potty(it is by no means mastered he is just attempting it). He finally got his Wii back after a few month hiatus so he got the Just Dance game which he had been asking for. His All time favorite song Cotton Eye Joe is on there so needless to say we have heard that one many times this weekend. Check out the pictures of him rocking it out. We also painted our whole driveway with sidewalk paint another cam favorite. We chewed some gum and ran errands together. Hope your weekend was as good as ours!

Mother's Day week/weekend
I had a fantastic Mother's Day week and weekend thanks to my little sweetie. We started off the week by celebrating at Applebees on Tuesday for teacher appreciation where teachers ate free. He pointed out the miller lite sign and then proceeded to tell the waiter that was daddys beer. I hung my head down and told him we were bad parents. LOL The weather was fantastic during the week so daddy and Camden got the sprinkler and the sprayer out for the first time this year. I couldn't belive my little wet mess when I got home. My in-laws visited for the weekend and helped us landscape and plant flowers for mothers day which is what I wanted as my present. We all had fun picking out flowers and planting them. Camden enjoyed helping out. We had a fantastic lunch today and went to church where I volunteered in the nurshery and my heart was just so filled watching my son sing all of the childrens hymns. He is so excited to learn about Jesus and the Bible. That makes his daddy and me smile :) I thought I woudl end with a few of my favorite Cam moments of the weekend
1. Cam's new favorite saying......mommy it was an accident(this is when he does something he knows he isn't suppose to do)
2. Mommy those cookies we have to save them for Santa Claus and he was serious no one got to eat them
3. Mommy" Girls kiss boys and boys kiss girls" Yes Camden you are right!
4. After planting all day and seeing all the flowers he said so seriously"This is going to be beautiful"
This kid is seriously cracking me up at this stage.

More fun!
Well we had such a big weekend last weekend with the birthday party and family here that Camden didn't have time to open his birthday presents from us! In fact he still has a few for next week. We are taking it very slow! Anyway he opened up his big present, his first set of golf clubs (3 clubs and a bag). Camden had taken a liking to our golf bags and our big clubs so we were tired of ours getting scratched up. So now Camden has a fancy bag a 9 iron, a driver, and a putter. He was pretty excited. We just played outside Friday night since it was so beautiful and then it was not so beautiful today so we were stuck inside. Ashleigh came to babysit Camden so we could go out for a bit and earlier in the day we went to art class. We will see what we get into tomorrow.
