Camden and I enjoyed another great week of summer this past week. We went to week two of swim lessons and I finally got some pictures of him jumping off the diving board. His teacher thought he was just hilarious and he had such a great time at swim lessons. We will definetly be going back to Transy for some more. Between all of that we went to a few classes at Gymboree and just hung out together. We headed to Madison to see the grandparents and Stacy, Chris and Riley. Ri bug is walking all over the place and Camden really enjoyed teaching her lots of new things. We are sure looking forward to them coming to Lexington Tuesday and our dad coming from Florida for a week. We will have a blast I'm sure! On our way back to Lexington we went through Louisville for Barrett's 2nd birthday party. Camden had a great time as we did this, went to church and did some more swimming today!

Father's Day Weekend
Father's Day weekend is hardly different for us than any other weekend because Camden is crazy about his daddy ALL DAY EVERYDAy! There is just no other way to put it. They are just enarmored with each other. It is so cute to see. Poor daddy sometimes would like a break because there are just some things that Camden WILL NOT let mommy do. David is such a good daddy to Camden and we had an awesome weekend hanging out. Camden also went to the zoo with his Nana while I had to go to meeting for school. Camden's nanny and Poppy came to get lunch with us yesterday and he is anxiously awaiting his POppo from Florida to get here on July 1st. We also made it to church, went to the pool twice, and watched a lot of golf on TV.

Swim lessons week one
Well we have completed one week of swim lessons and I must say I have a true water baby on my hands. He absolutely loves it! We are taking lessons at Translyvania University and their swim teams do it. I must say it is worth the money and I highly recommend it! Camden is my little daredevil and is absolutly not scared of anything they do in the class. Well some of the other kids are and Camden plays that up a lot! When their mothers are trying to get them to do whatever they are doing Camden chimes right in their business. Mom came to watch Wednesday and she said she could not believe how nosy Camden is! He is sweet too as he patted some of the other kids on the back and encouraged him. I have said it before but I would not trade his wonderful personality for anything in the world. This week Camden kicked in the pool, floated on his back, used different swim tools to swim, jumped off the side to the teacher in the deep end, put his head all the way unders, jumped off the diving board, and started doggy paddling on his own. I cant' wait to see what he accomplishes next week. He would like to do the high dive but that is just where mommy draws the line......

Birthdays Bonanza!
Well we had a weekend full of birthday parties. We attended two birthday parties, one at Legacy Gymnastics for Camden's friend Gabe and one at ChuckE Cheese for Camden's friend Scarlett. This was all in between my 5 HOUR TEST ON Saturday. I am sure glad that is over! We also made it to church and just hang out together. What a great weekend. We are looking forward to swimming lessons starting tomorrow for two weeks so that will be keeping us busy along with anything else we come up with to do. We love summer!!

Camden vs. The Diving Board
Well I must say there have been a lot of firsts going on lately. First the potty now the diving board. Today we took Camden to the pool and he had been asking us time after time to jump off the diving board. Keep in mind it is a pretty big diving board and probably the youngest child I saw jumping off of it was probably around 7 years old. We repedeatly the last few times we went told him no because he was too little. Camden HATES hearing this he heard it this week at Gattitown about the bumper cars and at the pool about the diving board. He starts swim lessons next week so we told him after he did it at swim lessons he could try it at our pool. Well that just didn't suite my brave little soldier so we finally caved and let him do it. I still thought he might get up there and chicken out but then I realized this kid never chickens out!!! So I walked up there with him and daddy tredded in the deep end to catch him. He did awesome!!! I still thought we got a lot of stares like"look at those crappy parents letting that little thing jump off that board into the deep water. They obviously don't know my Camden. I wouldnt trade that little personality for anything in the world!!! Here are some pictures of him at the pool we were much to nervous to do pictures of the diving board so maybe next time!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok can you tell I am pretty excited about this. WE have finally mastered the potty! This is seriously more exciting to me than any milestone he has achieved. I think that this is because it was been the only thing that has challenged this kid. Funny thing is looking back we hadn't really tried much because I am never with him consistently due to working. Well now that it is the first official week of summer we decided to nip it in the bud right away. The thing that made it easy is that he was finally ready to do it. A lot of my friends' kids were potty trained between 2 and 3 and I will have to admit I was jealous but Camden was just not ready. IT just clicked this week and it was not a pain at all. So my advice to any reader woudl be to just wait until your child is ready. Believe me it is a struggle until then. This has been super easy. We started last Thursday and I can actually say I think it is for the most part mastered. I have to thank my mother and my mother and law for getting the ball rolling Thursday through Saturday while I was in Sarah's wedding. On that note it was so good seeing my high school friends at that wedding. Congratulations Camden mommy and daddy love you very much and are super proud of you!

Almost summer break.....
Well I currently have one teacher day to go and then it is school out for summer!!!!!!!! I am so excited, I love spending time with Camden in the summer and it gets better every summer. This year at 3 I think will be our best yet. We love the 3's so far. We have lots of fun plans in store for the summer. We tried a few out this week swimming and bowling. OMG!! The kid loves bowling he talks about it all the time and did not want to leave the bowling alley and seriously asks to go everyday. There is lots more in store for you this summer Cam!! Cam also had his last day of 2 year old preschool. He learned so much this year. I was fortunate enough to get to leave school for a little bit and sneak over to see him. We are heading to Indiana this weekend for my good friend Sarah's wedding which I am a bridesmaid in so Camden will get lots of Na-na and Nanny and Poppy time!
