It has been a rather rough week Camden has already had his first bout of sickness (all allergy related) After two trips to the doctor and a ton of coughing we are finally on the mend. I just hate this sickness it is so hard on everybody but especially our little partner. It is so hard when your baby says "why do I just keep coughing" it breaks your heart. We did manage to still make it to the circus and we had a fabulous time. Camden was very in to it this year. He loved the elephants, tigers, and dogs that did tricks. We hope this week will be better for all of us. Praying for some good sleep!

Better Weather
The weather is finally getting cooler in the bluegrass and Camden has enjoyed being back outside. He has loved swimming this summer but he is at his best playing, riding, and running around in the back yard. He even tried out his roller skates that he had been wanting to try but lets just say I was a little scared and they didn't last too long. But doesn't he just look so cute in his gear. We are all looking forward to the weekend and are heading to Rupp Arena because Barnum and Bailey are in town!

Camden's first day of 3 year old preschool
Today was the big day...the dinosaur bookbag had been ready for weeks, new shoes and clothes bought and schedules arranged so that mommy and daddy could take and pick up. It worked out beautifully. David took 18 pictures starting from at home, outside our house, by the car, by preschool, by the door of preschool, washing hands, walking down the hall, hanging up his bookbag. I was super proud of the amount of pictures we got of his first day of preschool this year. He had an awesome day. David gets to take him and I get to pick him up so we are super excited about that this year. It is worth the pay cut I am taking (i think). David even got to meet us at Chick fil A for special lunch. It was a good day!

Starting school....
It's that time of year again...back to school. I started back last Monday and Camden had is orientation and his first practice day to see his "3" year old room. He told me on Friday when DAvid and I went to let him check things out that the babies stay in the other room. Well hello Camden you were in that room in May. He thinks he is so grown up. I enjoyed my first week of "part time" and it was fun having two afternoons off with Camden. I probably will not be as excited when I get my first new paycheck but I can tell already it is going to be worth it! Other than school we hit the pool a few times and had a big cookout with all of our friends. Rebekkah and Chad brough the twins and they have grown so much. Stephanie and Collin came with baby Ian and Liz and Corey came with Henry. It is so fun to see everyone together. And to think my Camden started all the baby frenzy!!!!! This week we are looking forward to Camden starting preschool!

Our last week of summer vacation
This was my last week off from work and I couldn't help but think as we were watching Phineaus and Ferb (A Disney show) that their intro song says "there's a 104 days of summer vacation and school comes along just to end it". Okay I don't know about you but I found myself wanting to live where they do because our summer vacation is so short!!!! Anyway Camden and I made the most of our last week together by doing some of his summer favorites one last time. WE made at trip to Gattitown, went swimming with Jennifer and Abigail, and went to see a movie (Open Season). Camden always says something loudly during the movie and this time was no different. There was a scene with a hunter that had a big rifle. Camden yells out "mommy we have a gun at our house". I felt like mother of the year as I was trying to Shush him. Anyway we had so much fun. Camden still has one week before he starts preschool but he is looking forward to playing at Mary's with his friends this week. Boo for school starting but I am excited I have Tuesday and Thursday afternoons off to spend together with CAmden!

A busy week after vacation
Well that is an understatment to say the least. After getting back from Hawaii I have less than 2 weeks before work starts again in full swing! I wanted to make the most of my time remaining in the summer to hang out with my little man. We have done a lot of swimming with our friends Abigail and Coleman. We also made an impromptu trip to Kings Island with Stacy and Riley. We rode all the rides in Snoopyland (well the ones he was tall enough to ride) and did all of the water slides in Boomerang BAy that we could. Some of his favorites were the log ride and the wave pool. Camden is growing up to be such an excellent boy and we are just partners everywhere we go. I am going to be lost without him so much everyday when I go back to work. Luckily this year I am lucky enough to get to spend Tuesday and THursday afternoons with him and get to pick him up from preschool so I am super excited about that and that will hopefully get me through starting back. We also went to Madison this weekend and Camden danced the night away at our friends Amy and Chris's wedding. What a sweet boy!
