A real game

Last night we had a rare night off from tball (don't worry we have a brutal final schedule coming up starting tonight) and headed to Cincinnati to watch the red hot reds! Camden was super excited. He got a huge slushie and a new pack of team baseball cards. Nana even went with us!

A must stop at skyline

I love these two

No more bouncy house but they had a dinosaur dig where you dig for silly bands

One per kid but of course Camden dug everyone out so the poor teenager had to put them all back in

Cheese!

We just love hanging out with Joe and going to the ballpark. I are much more of this in the stouts future!

Memorial Day

Memorial Day started off for us with a 9am practice followed by a 430 tball game. We then started the real fun by having a cul-de-sac cookout with our neighbors. It was so much fun that I just didn't have time for pictures. The kids had fun with the new neighbors and enjoyed yummy food, trampolines, and kickball. We are already looking forward to Labor Day!

Saturday and Sundayisms

Baseball is pretty much the name of the game in this family. Our Memorial Day weekend has either consisted of playing tball games, playing street baseball games with neighbors, or gathering all out dad friends and their kids for extra baseball practices. We did manage to throw in a birthday party at the Mad potter yesterday. Camden painted a robot. It was super fun

Say it isn't so

Please tell me I am dreaming and this isn't a picture of Camden on the way to his last day of kindergarten. He has grown so much this year. We are excited he will have the same teacher next year for first grade and him and most of his classmates all get to
Stay together another year. Here's to a great summer ahead with my little man!

Fun day!

Today as Camden's second to last day of kindergarten (insert tear). I took a Half day to head to veterans park ball field ( as if we don't live there already) to watch him play. He had so much fun playing with all the kindergartners and first graders that he is buddies with. They were playing baseball imagine that!
We enjoyed lunch and Popsicles outside. What a great end to the school year

Boo for another rainout yesterday. Max had come to our house to wait the rain out and see if we could play but we didn't get too. These boys made the most of it. Our Memorial Day weekend will now be filled with more tball than it already was!

Super star

Guess who was the superstar of the ball game last night! Camden!
He recorded five outs playing pitcher and had a double and two singles driving in 3 runs! Super proud of him and he received the game ball!

What a talent

Camden is practicing for his talent show in Tuesday for his last week of school. He chose to do ball tricks. Dave and I kinda looked at each other when he told us about it but he had the whole thing planned out himself. He actually is super good at these ball tricks. He loves dribbling and going between his legs. He also does those tricks with his eyes closed and does one where he spins in a circle. They are pretty fantastic. I can't wait to see him perform!

A must read

Camden brought this writing piece home and I thought it was worth sharing. Apparently Camden feels that he is being slighted in corn chips. David and I thought it was hilarious because the day before he told the doctor that corn chips were his favorite food. Now David most definitely loves a good corn chip but Camden has never asked for corn chips and it certainly isn't one of his favorite foods. Must be his latest obsession! Ha!

I'd rather be fishing

My husband loves I fish just about as much as anyone. Camden has wanted to go for a long time so when David said they were going with a friend and his son Camden could hardly contain himself. I could hardly contain myself that I got an hour and a half of peace and quiet. Camden caught two fish and was a complete muddy mess when he got home. I think they had tons I fun.
