End of rookie(coach pitch)

Yesterday marked a sad day for us. Camden had been in coach pitch for two years with two years of travel summer ball. This fall he will be moving up to what I call big boy baseball. Kids pitching. This momma is nervous but I know he is ready and will have a great time. Our last two tourneys were the bluegrass state games and the Knoxville tournament. We made some good good memories

Eeeek. Summer is winding down. It's now almost the end of July. But during mid July we had a lot of fun

July

I can't stinkin believe it's already almost mid July. This summer is flying by at record speed. Here's is what we have been up to.
Swim season has wrapped up. I have loved Camden swimming on our neighborhood swim team but I am afraid this is our last season. We didn't get to participate much due to baseball and baseball is what he says he wants to play. I have great memories of him swimming. Here are some pics from our last meet

Camden is starting to lose his second round of teeth. The dentist says kids typically lose these at 11. What!! He's barely 8!


We did a tourney this weekend. Well a half tourney. We got rained out Sunday. The boys got their new bat bags and helmets

It's time again for all star baseball season. Last weekend we had our first tournament in nicholasville and did really well. Runner up. It is so fun hanging with all he families under the tents. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Tourney number two is tomorrow. I can't believe this is the boys last season of rookie coach pitch. Next year will be big boy baseball. Poor momma!
