Sorry it has been a while but I was rather busy traveling to and fro from Hawaii. Needless to say we had an amazing time. We went out there for my friend Amber's wedding on Ohaua and then headed over to Maui for the remainder of the time. We went to lots of great restaurants, went snorkeling (well kinda I was mostly sick), went on a dinner cruise (which I did not eat), and mostly just layed around and relaxed for a week. The one downfall is that we missed our little guy so much and he missed us too. We decided this would be our last big trip without him. He did have fun with his grandparents. My mom took him to the Madison fair, took him to the Reds game to meet my sister and Riley, and they played as much as they could despite the heat. I will leave with ten things I learned while in Hawaii or about Hawaii
1. Must never leave my child that long again it was agonizing
2. The weather in Hawaii was absolutley fantastic better than anywhere in the world I have been.
3. I absoultely cannot ride in any sort of boat. Believe me I tried twice and it was not pretty just ask the people on our snorkeling trip and dinner cruise
4. It is way fun to hang out with your high school friends again ten years later, it was like nothing had changed.
5. I can actually read a book other than textbooks for grad school and like it
6. Pearl Harbor is acutally cooler than I thought it would be.
7. It is actaully nice to get to talk to your husband and hang out with him.
8. Mama's fishouse is seriously the best seafood place on the island food and view
9. Hawaii is extremely far away like way farther than I thought it would be.
10. I want to most definelty go back someday with my family!!!
